JULIUS NYERERE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (JNIA) EXPANSION | $ 700 M
The Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam has been expanded with modern terminals, larger runways, and upgraded cargo facilities. This project has made international travel and trade smoother and faster.

DAR ES SALAAM BUS RAPID TRANSIT (DART) | $ 134 M PHASE ONE
The DART system introduced modern, air-conditioned buses running on dedicated lanes across Dar es Salaam. This has transformed urban mobility in the city.
Daily commuting has become faster, safer, and cleaner. Traffic congestion and pollution have been significantly reduced.

STANDARD GAUGE RAILWAY (SGR) – DAR ES SALAAM TO DODOMA AND BEYOND | $ 3.6 B
This is an ongoing project, with the first phase complete by now. The Standard Gauge Railway is being constructed to connect Dar es Salaam’s port with inland cities and neighbouring countries.
This railway reduces transport costs, speeds up trade, and connects communities. Passengers can travel safely and efficiently while enjoying scenic landscapes along the route.
The SGR is considered a lifeline for commerce in Tanzania, as it ensures that goods move faster and more reliably across the country and beyond.
